Asiana increases Seattle and San Francisco flights with business class service

Asiana Airlines, one of the largest carriers in South Korea, has announced that it will be adding flights to its routes from Incheon International Airport to Seattle and San Francisco, reports SkyClub News.

Both the Seattle and San Francisco routes will be upgraded to daily service, making Asiana more competitive against Korean Air on flights to the Seoul metropolitan area. Daily flights to San Francisco will reportedly begin May 26, while Seattle's daily service begins on May 27.

Although Asiana has not yet revealed which kind of plane it will fly between Incheon and Seattle, it has stated that premium passengers on the San Francisco route will be able to enjoy a new business class cabin.

Business class on Asiana features the OZ Quadra Smartium seat, which has direct aisle access and lies fully flat. Travelers will also be able to enjoy 15-inch personal televisions, in-seat power outlets, a satellite phone and text and e-mail services.

Additionally, business class passengers will dine on dishes inspired by both Western and Korean cuisine, with all food served on bone china alongside fine wines and environmentally friendly coffee.
