British Airways signs deal with BBC Worldwide

Business class travelers may find that they can now watch their favorite show on their next British Airways flight.

The airline recently announced that it has signed a deal with BBC Worldwide, which will allow British Airways to feature branded channels for BBC Entertainment, Knowledge, Lifestyle and CBeebies.

In December, the airline's in-flight entertainment will begin featuring channels that show programs like Celebrity Master Chef, Top Gear and Luther, according to the airline.

CBeebies will be the first ever preschool and children's channel for the airline.

"As a company, we are committed to serving our international audiences with the best British content across a range of media platforms." said Ian McDonough, the senior vice prsident and general manager at BBC Worldwide. "This deal enables viewers to access some of their favorite BBC shows on BA aircraft as well as providing us with a valuable opportunity to extend the reach of our channel brands."
