Business class on Qatar Airways will change the way travelers fly
Qatar Airways' flight from Melbourne to Athens, via Doha, offered one business traveler a brand new experience that will have him returning for more flights for years to come.
The Australian Associated Press (AAP) reporter recently flew the route in the airline's famous business class for the first time, and explained how the airline took care of every passenger.
Once seated, passengers are offered a small package of "necessities," ranging from a pajama set, Molton Brown cosmetics, noise-cancelling headphones and a blanket, according to the news source.
The airline, which is well known for its luxurious amenities in its premier classes, makes sure that its food offerings are some of the best in the sky. The menu is made up of traditional Arabic food as a starter, followed by smoked barramundi with wild rosella and wasabi couscous, which is guaranteed to leave every passenger smiling.
Qatar Airways is one of only six airlines to have been awarded a five star rating by Skytrax, according to the airline, and was recently awarded the best business class award at the 2010 Skytrax World Airlines Award. The company also played third best carrier overall.
