Lufthansa and Ritz-Carlton hotel to extend culinary partnership


Premier class travelers who have enjoyed the fine dining experiences on Lufthansa will be excited to learn that the airline has recently extended their culinary collaboration with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel company, due to passenger feedback.

According to EliteTraveler.com, the two have extended their partnership through December 2011, so passengers with business or first class tickets will be able to enjoy dishes created by distinguished chefs.

"This expanded program is a testament to the unique and successful collaboration between Lufthansa and Ritz-Carlton, which has generated the highest customer satisfaction ratings from our passengers," Nicola Lange, director of customer relations for the airline, told the news source.


The menus have been developed by the head chef of the airlines, and are designed to show off the talents of the many executive chefs .

"The exceptional relationship forged between our chefs and the culinary specialists from Lufthansa and LSG Sky Chefs has allowed us to develop menu selections that are even more creative and enticing," George McNeill, vice president and culinary corporate chef for The Ritz-Carlton, told the news source.
