Lufthansa to launch A380 service to Miami in June

German national carrier Lufthansa has announced that it will begin flying a new Airbus A380 superjumbo jet on its route between Frankfurt and Miami, reports Business Traveller.

The new A380 service to Miami is expected to begin on June 10, following the airline taking delivery of its eighth superjumbo jet the month before. Lufthansa currently flies A380s to five cities around the world, including American destinations like New York City and San Francisco. Overall, the German airline is expected to be the first carrier to fly the groundbreaking superjumbo to Miami.

Travelers who fly between Frankfurt and Miami on the new jet may be able to enjoy Lufthansa's upgraded first class cabin, which was revealed earlier this year. The premium section has seating for eight people, providing passengers with an unparalleled sense of privacy and exclusivity.

Each seat in the Lufthansa A380 first class cabin is separated from neighboring seats by adjustable privacy walls. Guests can store their belongings in designated first-class lockers, as the overhead bins have been removed to make the cabin feel more spacious.
