Lufthansa to reintroduce first class seats on flights between Frankfurt and Bahrain

It may be easier to travel in luxury between Europe and the Middle East, thanks to a recent announcement by Lufthansa.

The airline will bring first class service back on flights between Frankfurt and Bahrain on October 24. With a new A340 aircraft that features a new three-class cabin configuration, where first class travelers will be able to enjoy one of the eight luxurious seats.

"With the deployment of a wide body jet and an increase in capacity, Lufthansa underlines its commitment to Bahrain," said Mr. Schaher Murad, the airline's regional manager for Bahrain. "I am very happy to once again be able to offer our customers in Bahrain the full Lufthansa product range, including First Class."

Four of the weekly flights will be nonstop to Frankfurt, while three will be operated with a stop in Dammam, according to the airline. Since business travelers frequently fly between Europe and the Middle East, Lufthansa now offers flights to nine destinations in the Gulf region, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Muscat.
