Those who are used to flying business and first class for long haul flights, may have been treated to lie-flat beds and impeccable service - but some airlines go above and beyond to try to make passengers have a relaxing and luxurious experience.

On its new A380 planes, Emirates Airlines offers travelers in first class their own private suite, which comes fully equipped with an electronically operating door, mini bar, work desk, vanity mirror and ever room service. In the 14-suite cabin, there are also onboard showers, perfect for those who want to freshen up before landing at their destination. Flying with someone else? There are center suites in the middle of the cabin that have a divider, which is perfect for those traveling in pairs.

Singapore Airlines also doesn't skimp on the luxury on their A380. In the private first class cabins, passengers will be greeted with a bed featuring a down duvet, according to the airline. The seat is 35-inches across, making it the widest in the air. Passengers can sit back, relax and watch movies and dine from dishware designed by Givenchy, according to
