New Emirates planes flying between Dubai and Perth offer private first class suites

Passengers flying in first class on either of Dubai-based airline Emirates' two daily flights between Dubai and the Australian city of Perth will enjoy new amenities on the carrier's new Boeing 777-200LR planes, reports Australian Business Traveller.

The new Boeing planes will be equipped with the same luxuries as Emirates' Airbus A380 jets, with the first class cabin on the new aircraft featuring eight private suites. Those who are flying in business class will be able to use one of 42 seats that lie flat.

"The introduction of the new aircraft will ensure an enhanced and consistent travel experience for Emirates' passengers to Dubai and beyond," Darren Tyrrell, Emirates sales manager for Western Australia, told the source.

People traveling in first and business class will also be able to utilize the airline's other amenities, including an entertainment system featuring more than 1,200 music and movie channels as well as complimentary gourmet food and drinks. Emirates also offers baggage allowances of up to 30 kilograms, and golf clubs can be checked for free even if the 30-kilogram allowance has already been used.
