Travel blog lists top first and business class service from the U.S.

Gadling, a travel blog from AOL, has listed its favorite first and business class cabins on flights departing from the U.S.

The service that earned top honors was the first class cabin on the Airbus A380 flown by Emirates between New York and the carrier's hub in Dubai. In particular, the source enjoyed the comfortable private suites and the onboard first class lounge, which allows passengers to grab a drink and socialize while in flight.

Earning second place was British Airways, which won praise for its Boeing 747 first class service from New York and Chicago to London. Located in the nose of the plane, the carrier's first class cabin is expected to be upgraded this year, and the source states that the new service is expected to cement British Airways as the top airline offering service between the U.S. and London.

Third place on the list went to V Australia for its Boeing 777 business class service between Los Angeles and Sydney. The source lauded the airline's signature Virgin-brand swankiness, including its colorful cabins, top-notch food and classy lounge.
