Airspace Lounge to open at BWI in May

Premium air travelers in Maryland will soon be able to enjoy Airspace Lounge, a new private facility at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, according to a press release.

The new lounge, which is set to open in May of this year, is open to passengers who pay a small daily fee. The facility will offer a range of amenities, including free wireless internet, the use of Macbooks and Windows PCs, power outlets at every seat, ample seating and workspace areas.

Visitors to the lounge will also enjoy a range of complimentary food and drink, which will be served from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Dining options include breakfast items in the morning and a sandwich in the afternoon and evening. Travelers can also buy alcoholic beverages from a full-service bar.

"The addition of Airspace Lounge to the fine roster of BWI Marshal Airport's amenities is great news for the 22 million passengers using this international airport each year," said Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold. "Anne Arundel County welcomes Airspace and looks forward to working with them as they grow."
