Emirates opens fourth premium airport lounge

Airline customers who prefer to purchase first class tickets may be used to spending time in their carrier's luxury airport lounges.

Emirates is an airline that now provides premium travelers with four airport spaces where customers can unwind before their flights with the opening of its new First Class Lounge, according to the carrier's website. This luxury area can be found at Dubai International Airport and is designed to offer customers a more convenient lounge option.

The First Class Lounge is located in Concourse 1, along with Emirates' Business Class Lounge. This will allow travelers who hold first class airfares an opportunity to unwind in close proximity to 14 departure gates in this part of the airport. If they are flying out from one of these nearby gates, they will also no longer have to rush.

"Lounges are an integral part of the Emirates experience, and reaffirm our dedication to offering the very best to our customers," Mohammed H. Mattar, divisional senior vice president of Emirates Airport Services, said, as quoted by the website.

Mattar added that the new lounge provides individuals with first class tickets an opportunity to experience high-quality Emirates service both on the ground and in the sky. For instance, the airline's luxury service includes a chauffeur-driven journey to the airport.

Once travelers arrive at the new lounge, they will encounter a variety of amenities, including shower facilities, two dining areas and a business center that features four separate work stations. Those who seek comfort can visit the quiet zone and take a seat in one of its eight recliners. Other perks of this luxury lounge are 55- and 65-inch televisions as well as a special area that is just for smokers.

The lounge's modern design complements Emirates' existing first class space, which is located in Concourse 2. The new facility boasts an international feel and has been outfitted with Italian marble flooring, high-quality European leather and gold-plated Rolex clocks from Geneva.

According to Dubai International Airport's website, Emirate's First Class Lounge in Concourse 2 provides a premium travel experience for passengers of all ages. In addition, the staff working in this space is on call 24 hours a day, which ensures that people's needs will be attended to, no matter when they arrive.
