Premium passengers on flights operated by American Airlines, British Airways and Spanish carrier Iberia can now take advantage of a new lounge at Miami International Airport, according to a press release.
The newly opened lounge, which is located past the security checkpoint in Concourse E, covers 6,000 square feet and has enough seating for up to 120 visitors. Guests in the facility can work in its business center, which has stations equipped with HP Compaq dc7900 PCs. Those who would rather relax can enjoy rooms with flat-panel TVs, shower suites and a children's room with computers.
Dining options in the lounge include complimentary lunch, afternoon tea or light supper menus, which include soups and sandwiches. Guests are also able to enjoy free drinks, such as liquor, wine, beer, coffee, tea and soda.
"The Premium lounge offers customers traveling through Miami a convenient place to relax before, between and after flights," said Peter Dolara, American's senior vice president for Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America. "This lounge provides another customer touchpoint where our representatives can offer seamless, premium service and enhance the travel experience as part of the joint business."
