No. 1 Traveller lounge to open in August at London Heathrow Airport

People flying through London Heathrow Airport will soon be able to take advantage of a new premium lounged operated by independent company No. 1 Traveller, reports Business Traveller.

The new facility, which will be located in Heathrow's Terminal 3, is expected to open on August 14 of this year. No. 1 Traveller currently operates lounges at Gatwick and Stansted, two other airports in London.

The main attraction of the new Heathrow lounge will be a series of bedrooms available for customers to rent. Each soundproofed bedroom features a shower, telephone, wireless internet service, on-demand films and room service. The facility will be equipped with 11 single bedrooms and 3 rooms designed to fit two people.

Visitors to the lounge who don't pay for one of the private bedrooms can still take advantage of a range of other amenities, including a game room with video game consoles and a foosball table, a cinema, a bar, a bistro, an aquarium and a spa.

Meal service is offered all day in the lounge, although breakfast options are only served until 11 a.m. Travelers with dietary restrictions can select from an array of dishes made without wheat or gluten.
