Oman Air business class passengers to gain free access to Heathrow lounge

According to Heathrow's website, the No. 1 Traveller Lounge is divided into several spaces that cater to people's different needs. For instance, those who wish to relax before their flight can unwind in a soundproofed TV room. If any kids are in tow, they can entertain themselves with the games that are provided in the children's area. Or, individuals can receive a spa treatment before having a meal at the facility's own bistro.

The opportunity that is presented to Oman passengers with business class airfares is the result of a partnership between the airline and No. 1 Traveller, a London-based airport lounge and chauffeur company, the news source stated. In addition to its premium customers, the carrier's Gold and Silver Sinbad members can also enter the lounge.

"Oman Air is renowned for its highest standards of hospitality and comfort in the air and we are delighted that our business class customers and Gold and Silver Sindbad members will now receive those same standards of service in the new No.1 Traveller lounge at Heathrow’s Terminal 3," Krishan Perera, Oman's regional airport services manager for Europe, said, as quoted by the news outlet.

This promotion will go into effect on September 1 and be available to passengers with business class fares who fly Oman's daily, non-stop and direct London-Muscat route, according to the news source. Furthermore, all of the services that are offered in the lounge will be complimentary. This means that travelers can unwind while sipping a champagne cocktail at the space's fully-tended bar, or call friends and family in one of the area's Skype facilities.

To celebrate this new service, any Oman customers who visit the lounge through November will receive complimentary Travel Spa treatments, the news outlet reported. Among the relaxing options are massages, facials, pedicures, manicures, hair styling and hot towel wet shaves.
