Online executive magazine names top airport lounges

Premium travelers looking for a place to relax before their flight may want to check out the list of top global airline lounges published by Exec Digital, an online executive business and lifestyle magazine.

The first airport lounge on the list is operated by Singapore Airlines at the carrier's main hub, Singapore Changi Airport. The facility's deluxe services allow the airline to "start [its] five-star service during the wait time" thanks to its 30,000 square feet of space. The spacious lounge has room for 200 first class passengers and 450 people flying in business class, so travelers will never have to worry about finding a seat.

Domestic travelers will enjoy spending time at the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at San Francisco International Airport, which occupies the next spot on Exec Digital's list. The source particular liked the lounge's 24-hour menu, the local art that covers its walls and the full view of the city's skyline.

The last facility highlight on the Exec Digital list is the Star Alliance Lounge in Zurich, which welcomes premium passengers on any of the airlines belonging to the Star Alliance. In addition to Zurich, this luxurious lounge also operates facilities in Paris, Los Angeles, Nagoya and London.
