Delta Airlines to donate a home to Habitat for Humanity

Those who purchase first and business class tickets, may be pleasantly surprised with what Delta Airlines is doing for this upcoming holiday season.

Delta Airlines recently announced that it will donate a Habitat for Humanity home in the Cincinnati area for the second year in a row, according to Fox News.

The airline and about 200 volunteers built a home in six weeks - making it the fastest-built home for the organization this year, according to the news source.

The people moving into the house will be the Bigure family. They moved to the U.S. in 2005 during the civil war in Berundi and they currently live in a two bedroom apartment.

"This is going to change our lives," Senga Bigure told the news source. "We have always believed that one day God would help our family, and, now through Habitat, God has provided for us. We will have so much more space and our children will finally have a place to play. My family loves each other and we love to be with people and neighbors and to simply live a peaceful life."

The airline plans on building several more homes this fall.
