Lufthansa adds second Airbus A380 to fleet

Lufthansa has recently added a second Airbus A380 to its fleet, which will allow it to increase the number of flights between Tokyo and Frankfurt.

The new aircraft, which was recently named München by the city’s mayor and his wife, can carry 526 people. By adding this plane, Lufthansa can now fly daily between Japan and Germany instead of just three times a week, according to the airlines website.

First class passengers will enjoy a luxurious cabin that offers fully-flat beds, personal television screens along with an AC outlet for people who need to use their laptops or charge any electronics. The first class cabin will also offer a large gallery that allows passengers to walk around or grab a snack during long haul flights.

Business class passengers will also be treated to a more luxurious flight with wider flat bed seats.

Both first class and business class seats will be on the upper deck of the plane and the main deck will be solely economy seating.
