Qatar Airways celebrates 100th destination

Qatar Airways, a Doha-based airline that offers flights from New York, recently announced that it is celebrating the addition of their 100th destination.

The airline will start flying to Aleppo, Syria in April, and will provide business travelers the opportunity to fly from the U.S. to one of the more important trade cities in the Middle East.

Ranked as the third best airline in the world, Qatar Airways is known for its high quality service for its business and first class passengers. In just 13 years, the airline has exhibited rapid growth, in both fleet size and destinations offers.

Passengers traveling in first class will be able to enjoy five-star meals while they head over to a business conference, along with enjoying movies and television shows on an individual wide screen television.

The new destination will link it to many other business centers throughout the area, making it easier for travelers to move around the region.

“Qatar Airways is delighted to commemorate our 100th destination by announcing our latest route to a city in our home region," said Akbar Al Baker, CEO of the airline. "As one of the oldest cities in the world, Aleppo is of strategic importance, providing links between east and west via Doha for business and leisure purposes.”
