The first part of the sale affects passengers departing from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City and George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. Under this section of the promotion, travelers in these cities can get steep discounts for flights to countries in South Asia. If their outbound travel takes place before September 11 of this year, they must book their tickets seven days in advance. Between September 12, 2011 and March 28, 2012, seats must be purchased 14 days ahead of time. All trips eligible for the discount rates must last between seven days and four months.

In addition to this South Asia promotion, travelers can also take advantage of a sale on tickets to all of Emirates' destinations in Africa (barring Luanda, Angola). To book discounted tickets under this deal, American travelers must fly out of New York, Houston, Los Angeles or San Francisco. Seats purchased through this Africa promotion must be booked either 21 or 50 days in advance, depending on the timing and final destination. Travelers who purchase 21 days ahead of time receive two free stopovers in Dubai in addition to their discounted ticket.

African cities served by flights eligible for the sale include Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire; Cairo, Egypt; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Accra, Ghana; Nairobi, Kenya; Tripoli, Libya; the island nation of Mauritius; Casablanca, Morocco; Lagos, Nigeria; Dakar, Senegal; Mahe, Seychelles; Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg in South Africa; Khartoum, Sudan; Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Tunis, Tunisia; and Entebbe, Uganda.

Whether they fly to South Asia, Africa or any of Emirates' other destinations around the world, business class passengers can enjoy the carrier's acclaimed premium service. They can also relax in comfort in a special onboard lounge. Additionally, business class travelers can take advantage of complimentary chauffeur service in 43 cities around the globe.
