Iberia to offer flights to London City Airport

Flying around Europe has just gotten easier, thanks to a recent flight announcement from Iberia Airlines.

The Spanish airline announced on September 2 that it will start to offer flights to London City Airport, under a codeshare with British Airways.

Iberia currently offers 13 daily flights between Madrid and London-Heathrow airport, according to the airline. The new flights would mean that the airline will offer a total of 23 daily flights between Spain and London.

Iberia will put its code, IB, on two-daily London City flights from Madrid and one-daily flight from Barcelona, making it easier to quickly travel between the two countries - which is important for business travelers.

The airline is the flag carrier airline of Spain and is based out of Madrid. Earlier this year, British Airways and Iberia signed an agreement to merge and became the third largest commercial airline in the world by revenue, according to the airline. The new company will be known as International Airlines Group, but will continue to operate under their current name.

So pack those bags and enjoy newer and more convenient luxury travel around Europe.
